Meet Noelle Campbell

Noelle's imagination tends to soar well outisde of Earth's atmosphere. Her debut collection of short stories, MARTIAN GOODS, perfectly exhibits her ability to take her readers where no man has gone before. Visit her blog at: http://noellecampbelldotcom.wordpress.com/

FAVORITE ICE CREAM FLAVOR:

When it comes to "favorite" flavor, I find it hard to decide.  There are always new items, old loves, new cravings, but...there are classics that I can always go back to. The one standard I can always depend on when I am not sure what I want is Baskin Robin's Pecan Praline.

BEST VACATION EVER:

When I was pregnant with my daughter (third child), I went to Ireland.  The people there are beautiful and diverse in personality and expression.  The landscape was gorgeous.  I can see why the Fair Folk hang out there.

SCARIEST MOVE:

Aliens.  First time, hands down, scariest movie.

THREE BOOKS THAT HAVE INSPIRED YOU:

The three books (or series of books) that I always go back to are:

1. The Belgariad by David Eddings

2. Dune by Frank Herbert

3. God in The Dock by CS Lewis.

Fantasy, Scifi and Philosophy.  Each of them gets me thinking.  Each of them inspires me to write mo'bettah.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING IN YOUR FREE TIME?

What is this free time thing you speak of?

DREAM DESTINATION:

Mars.  Of course.

FAVORITE MOVIE CATCH PHRASE:

"Give me some Sugar, Baby." (Ash, Army of Darkness)

A close second is from They Live (the best cult film ever): I'm here to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of bubble gum.

WHICH CARTOON CHARACTER ARE YOU MOST LIKE?

Bugs Bunny... when he was dressed like a girl.  Why?  I don't know why.  Why don't you tell me?

BEST HOLIDAY MEMORY:

My name is Noelle.  This is not a fair question.

WORST PET PEEVE:

When cops pull people over in rush hour traffic and just make everything that much worse.  Go stop crime, not start a bottleneck on I-10. M'kay? Thanks.
