Skyrocket Press is an independent small press, providing authors with the best publishing and marketing resources available and connecting them to other like-minded writers. We carefully select the authors and titles that will bear Skyrocket's name, focusing on quality and clean fiction and non-fiction for adult and young adult readers.
In 2019, we hosted our first annual Novel Writing Contest in order to start its traditional publishing arm. The Fergus by Tori Grant Welhouse is our first fully traditionally published title. In 2020, Paula Pedene won the second contest with her explosive memoir A Sacred Duty: How a Whistleblower Took on the VA and Won.
Several of our titles have been recognized with honors and awards, including Moonbeam Gold & Bronze Medals, The Spark Award & Honor from The Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators, and many more!
After a four year hiatus, Skyrocket Press is back and is searching for the next exciting read!
